Thanksgiving was wonderful and spent in the Dessert with Scott’s parents, Aunt/Uncle, and cousins. It was truly a vacation,  his parents are great with the kids (as you can see in the pics) and I even got to sleep in a bit. (Yippee) I spent some time thinking about what I am grateful for and what I would like to change. I hope your Thanksgiving was fantastic too.

I really didn’t think I would finish but I powered through the Malibu International Half Marathon I started training for 13 weeks ago. In the last couple weeks I injured my back and didn’t know if I should even show up that day. But I told myself I’ll do a couple miles and see how I feel. And, after a couple miles, I felt great and really enjoyed myself. I also beat  my last time (well, I was 4 months pregnant when I finished it last year).

Wow, Stevie is just about 6 months old. He’s full of smiles and laughter. When he talks his baby gurgles you can’t help but know what a happy, loving baby he is. Marlee is warming up to her brother and I think we’ll see her helping and playing with him more soon. She’s turning into a girl right before our eyes, no longer a baby. Every morning she’s convinced she’s grown taller. And she says some jaw dropping things you just wouldn’t expect from a 3 year old. The other day in the car she said, “Mommy can you turn the radio down, I want to tell you something.” Such great connection of thoughts!
